      Hi All,
I have struggled for years but Martin’s suggestions have helped a lot. So surprising that a simple technique of getting up after 20 minutes being awake would be so beneficial. My sleep has been improving.

My current issue is some days I sleep like 6 or even 7 hours sleep, but I don’t feel refreshed, i feel like i just need 10 more minutes of sleep. Some days after 6 hours of sleep, i get up for 30 minutes because i couldnt continue to sleep, then go to bed again so i sleep 10-20 minutes and wake up feeling very good. but some days i just couldn’t sleep after that 6 hours of sleep and try to sleep, if i couldn’t sleep, i spend the day feeling sleepy and feeling like i didnt sleep enough, even tho i slept 6 hours. So what should I do?

Do you think 6 hours sleep is enough?

I think a lot of people feel like this. I pretty much always wake up feeling like I really need a little more sleep. But once that alarm goes off I just have to get up. There’s no choice. If it’s the weekend, it’s not so bad. But Monday to Friday is always a bot of a struggle.

true, i think i feel so good if i sleep over 7 hours. I work from home so its fine for me to keep sleeping if I could but it just doesn’t happen :/

I’m so glad to know you’re finding this stuff helpful, Gemini!

If you felt refreshed, what would you then be able to do that you are unable to do when do don’t feel refreshed?

Do you feel there’s any possibility that focusing on trying to eliminate the feeling of fatigue or attracting the feeling of “refreshed” (hmmm is that grammatically correct?) might be setting you up for a bit of a struggle?

I am yet to meet someone who has direct or permanent control over their feelings — yet everyone I’ve met can control their actions 😉
