Waking up earlier than I'd like

      Hello, so this is my first post here and I would like to get some help in some “problem” I’m dealing in the last couple days. I developed insomnia a few months back, I’ve been able to control it through CBT-I strategies and now it doesn’t affect me very much, however, u the last couple nights I’ve been waking up earlier than what I want, normally I wake up at 5.30 am but now I’m waking up at 4.50 more than less, so I would like to get some guidance on what to do, when I wake up I feel rested so I don’t know if I should try to fall back asleep or do anything else?

        Any ideas why you started waking earlier? Waking within 40 minutes of your usual wake time is still quite consistent so this isn’t something I’d be too concerned with. Are you checking the clock when you wake? If so, you might find it helpful to stop doing that!
