      Hi am joe, 26, am currently facing one of the worst thing i never knew i’ll face. Am insomnia for now lol, i do spend more than 30mins awake every night before going back to bed. I don’t feel fatigue during the day only when it first started. Been to hospital and told them what am facing, they(doctors) just be looking at me like “what he talking bout?). Was disappointed and was given sleeping drugs which i didn’t use! Started searching online for solution and i came across martins website n saw how this not just me alone, whom couldn’t have a 7 on the dot sleep. Then i was ready to learn the process how to get back on. The free email i get from martin is helping and am geting 5h of sleep but still face challanges waking up same time each day. Anyone having such challenge aswell?

        Hello Joe. Can you tell us a bit more about what you mean when you say it’s a challenge to wake up at the same time every day? Do you mean that you often wake up early in the morning, before you want to be waking up?

        Unfortunately, although we can somewhat train ourselves to wake at a similar time each day, we can’t reliably control when we wake. If we wake and no longer feel sleepy, and we don’t feel fatigued during the day, we may have simply got enough sleep.

        If, on the other hand, you often wake in the early hours of the morning, find it hard to fall back to sleep, and don’t feel good during the day, there are steps you can take to improve things.

        When do you normally go to bed at night and when do you get out of bed to start your day?
