Welcome to the forum, Sheila! @SleepWellAZ123 gave some good advice — when you wake during the night and find it hard to fall back to sleep, it’s usually a good idea to get out of bed until you feel sleepy again. The activity you choose doesn’t have to be boring, though.
It’s also important to make sure that you are allotting an appropriate amount of time for sleep (if you are spending too much time in bed you will spend a lot of time awake in bed), that you are always out of bed by the same time every day, and that you only go to bed when you feel sufficiently sleepy.
I hope this gives you some things to think about — let me know if I can be of any further help!
