CBT-i has been working great for me in the past two weeks, but last night I experienced insomnia again. I was much more calm and less anxious about this episode of insomnia because of my knowledge and practicing CBT-i techniques, but it still stinks that I thought I was on the mend and now had a bad couple of nights. Luckily, I know how to get back on track thanks to CBT-i and Martin’s practices. I’m wondering if this has happened to you? Have you been experiencing success with CBT-i, but then a bad night or two occurs again?

Hi, I ended up with CBT-I a couple of weeks ago and still happen to have a few bad nights sleep. Go easy, this is absolutely normal. Continue with the techniques you have learned and you will see that you will improve even more. that not all nights can be perfect and that you can ALWAYS get up again. Good luck and keep it up, courage!

I’d say that this has happened to everyone because nobody has a great night of sleep every single night! If we don’t react to those difficult nights, we give sleep the best chance possible to get right back on track all by itself!
