Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I am looking to try combating my insomnia with a weighted stuffed animal. I’ve tried a weighted blanket before and while it helps, I sometimes find it too heavy and suffocating.

For those of you that own a weighted stuffed animal, do you find that it helps? Are there features that it’s lacking you wish was available? I noticed most on Amazon don’t go above 5 pounds, and I’m wondering if that is too light, but heavier ones on Etsy get pretty pricy (some over $100).

I am yet to come across anyone who found that a weighted stuffed animal cured their insomnia — and that might be because a weighted stuffed animal is unlikely to address the thing that provides insomnia with the oxygen it needs to survive (the struggle that usually comes from all our efforts to make sleep happen).
