Let's see what music everyone likes!
February 7, 2010 at 1:18 am #10079I like a little of everything, with Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, Aerosmith, Duffy, and The Ting Tings ranking among my faves. Rock is my fave genre, but I can listen to pretty much anything without cringing.
February 8, 2010 at 3:13 pm #10080I like a bit of everything, too. I guess my favourite genre would have to be funk, though! I love to listen to Traxx Funk on iTunes Radio – I'd recommend it (if you're into that kind of sound)!

February 11, 2010 at 8:45 am #10081I listen to all sorts of music ranging literally from Amadeus to ZZ Top!
I'm currently listening to Madness…I purchased their latest album, The Liberty Of Norton Folgate and it's great, feels like it is harking back to the old days… 😎
February 22, 2010 at 7:16 pm #10082I have extremely eclectic music tastes covering everything from classical, electro, punk, rock, indie, reggae & dub, the list goes on. If people want some interesting smal-ish bands to check out and especially like the indie scene I'd recommend The Wave Pictures & Los Campesinos! I could waffle about music at length though.
If you want hi energy original gypsy punk I recommend my favourite band of all time, Gogol Bordello. They take some getting in to but are well worth the effort. 🙂
February 22, 2010 at 10:45 pm #10083My kids have always picked on me about the fact that I am a Fleetwood Mac / Stevie Nicks fan. They liked to say that I am stuck in the 70's. But actually I listen to classic country & rock. And various others like Loreena McKennitt, Women of Faith, Herb Albert. I like to say that you never know what might come out of my CD player.
February 24, 2010 at 2:37 am #10084Hmmm…This is a tough one as I enjoy so many types of music. But the Music that reigns would be hard rock,Classics and Metal.
Metallica,Sepultura,Queen,STP,Voivod, and Led Zep are just some of the bands on my ipod at the moment. I too also love Gogol Bordello!!They are so different~ I fell in love with them after seeing them on late night TV!!
March 3, 2010 at 9:16 am #10085Mmm I think Metal and Hard rock are the only styles I don't like lol. I guess my favourite genre is R'n'B with Black Eyed Peas being a current favourite. I also love Steven Curtis Chapman, The Saturdays, Owl City and Alexandra Burke. Movie and musical soundtracks are also are huge favourite of mine and I collect as manay as I can. I love Hans Zimmers work in particular (think Pirates of the Carribean).
March 3, 2010 at 7:33 pm #10086I still listen to all the same bands I did in my late teens and early twenties. Namely Feeder, Muse, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Chilli Peppers and the like.
I went to see Feeder again last month. They were great, but it was strange to see them back on tour now they're in their 40s 🙂
March 3, 2010 at 11:18 pm #10087Ah, ageing rockers – there's just something about them!

March 6, 2010 at 8:27 pm #10088I listen to everything. Especially music that has meaning to me:
Senses Fail, Taproot, Linkin Park. Im a huge fan of Death metal as well : The Black Dahlia Murder, Job For A Cowboy, but I am a sucker for Acoustic The Spill Canvas, Secondhand Serenade.
But my fav artists are def Barry manilow and elvis. If you knew me personally, you would never guess that!
😀
March 7, 2010 at 7:28 pm #10089Elvis is awesome – I think I love the man more than the music, though. Do you have the '68 Comeback Special Deluxe Edition DVD? It's brilliant!

Muse aren't exactly aging, but I remember seeing them in my early 20s as a supercute support band. Ten short years later and Matt Bellamy (who's only about a year older then me) looks and dances around like he could be my Dad.
It's a hard life being a Rock Star 🙂
Man, I'm jealous! 😀
March 12, 2010 at 6:22 pm #10092My current faves are Doll and The Kicks and Mumford and Sons.
