My insomnia is getting worse. For the last 3 months I have averaged 3 to 4 hours of broken sleep a night. Before that my insomnia level of sleep was 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night. Going back 3 or 4 years ago I had a hard time staying awake and could go to sleep anywise (in a airplane terminal, for example) and get to sleep immediately. That was because I had severe allergies and sinus problems. Those problems have mostly went away and since that time I have great problems in getting and staying asleep.

I have the same problem. It got worse during covid because we couldn’t go anywhere. It’s hard not to think about it when your bed becomes your enemy.
I’m thinking of trying CBD gummies. Have you tried it?

Insomnia typically gets “worse” for one of two reasons:

          1. There is an obvious cause or trigger (we fall sick, we receive bad news, a life change happens, we are about to do something important).

When that cause or trigger is no longer present or relevant, things usually get better.

          2. We try even harder to make sleep happen.

The more we try to make sleep happen, the more difficult it often becomes.
