Sadly I sleep worse with hubby. He snores (even wearing nose strips) and if I'm not asleep before him then I cannot drop off as I tune into him. Even if he's not snoring I tune into his breathing. Some nights I have slept on the settee and some nights he has to let me sleep (bless him). Though most nights I either go to bed first to allow me to fall asleep or we go to bed together and he waits til I drop off before he stops reading. The light doesn't affect me.
My insomnia is a result of combo of things- but what is contributing to it also is my husbands snoring.
He wakes me up- then I can't get back to sleep.It's awful

Very Interesting! I have been epileptic for many years, and it has been thought that my Insomnia is secondary to the epilepsy.
But I also have a mild form of OCD. It used to be much worse when I was younger, but now it mostly centers around “checking” things.
Like- Is the door locked? lets check it five times!Is the coffee maker off-lets check it many times too! You get the drift.
Hmmm..Thanks so much for the info- as this gives me something to think about….

Seems My best sleep ocurrs between 6am-9am.

Hmmm…This is a tough one as I enjoy so many types of music. But the Music that reigns would be hard rock,Classics and Metal.
Metallica,Sepultura,Queen,STP,Voivod,and Led Zep are just some of the bands on my ipod at the moment. I too also love Gogol Bordello!!They are so different~ I fell in love with them after seeing them on late night TV!!
