Has anyone seen Human Centipede? I watched that one last week and let's just say, it's stuck with me!

Yup, I've seen that…and I found it boring to be honest, didn't appeal at all. I had heard so much about this movie and thought it would be great…..and I hear there are plans for a sequel too…marvellous! blink.gif

Saw Sweeny Todd (the new one) bit weird that.

I quite enjoyed it, although I have actually seen the musical too and enjoyed it as well, great stuff smile.gif

I was the new Harry Potter movie with my Cuddle Bunny on Sunday afternoon, it was ok I guess, but I was under the impression that this movie was supposed to be in 3D, yet nowhere seems to be screening it as such…and parts of the movie you could see were filmed for 3D too if that makes sense. She loved it and can't wait for the conclusion, me however….I thought it was ok, not sure if I want to see the next part though.

Next movie I want to see is Tron Legacy….I loved the original, and the trailers for this have been epically awesome so far!!

    Hey, I'm back!!

Been watching a few movies here and there…if you follow my blogs (I know some of you do) you'll know I get to see a few preview movies and such…anyways, here's what I've been watching….

    Saw 3D

I have been a big fan of the franchise since the beginning, despite the movies having more and more lame storylines, the traps have always fascinated me…so I was looking forward to this movie, as it was going to tie up loose ends and so on.

It was kinda OK, some good traps in there (especially the first one you see, that was clever) and I did like the twist at the end (and to be honest, it wasn't surprising and made a lot of sense and answered a question fans had been asking for a long time!!).

However, I'm not really sure this movie justified the 3D treatment, and because the movie was only available in 3D (I guess the clue was in the title there) but some people cannot watch 3D movies, or refuse to pay the premium to watch this type of movie, and I think that will have lost them a lot of viewers in the process.

This is supposed to be the end of the franchise, but I have my doubts, and as much as I hope it is..never say never right?

Not too bad a movie, but could have been a lot better…oh and if you are a fan of Linkin Park, you may be interested to know that singer Chester Bennington is also in the movie and let's just say he puts his back into the role….

    Shutter Island

Brilliant movie, I have watched this a few times now, but I watched this again with a friend recently.

It's a great movie about a man who tries to unravel the mysteries of Shutter Island a maximum security hospital. A woman seems to have disappeared and there is another patient that is not accounted for…

The movie, although I really enjoyed it, was quite predictable really.

    Rocky Horror Picture Show

This has to be one of my favourite movies, and absolute cult classic!! I have the 30th Anniversary edition of the movie in a boxset shaped like a giant pair of lips, and I have gone to the stage show too.

Couple Brad and Janet's car break down, and they go to a creepy castle for help (why do people do that?) and all sorts of insanity ensues. This is an amazing funny, and I always sing along to this (my poor neighbours!!) if you have not seen this movie..you must!!

    GoodTimes

    • To be honest, absolutely nothing in any way shape or form

    Bad Times

[*]I am back on antidepressants and an anticonvulsant…and they are mentally kicking my ass, I feel absolutely awful…I hope there is some balance and it sorts itself out soon.[*]I've lost touch with a dear friend, I have sent texts and other messages to no avail, and I miss them dearly.

I'm excited to watch the “banned from TV” episode of Family Guy. It's called, “Partial Terms of Endearment” I don't know much about it other than it was banned and released on DVD. I'm a huge Family Guy fan so I'm looking forward to it. I rented it and will let you all know how it is.

Is that the one where Lois becomes a surrogate but then wants an abortion when the parents die? I saw that the other day. It was OK, but there have definitely been better episodes!

    Martin– Yep, that's the one.

Hang on that episode was banned? I have seen that episode it was airred on UK TV.

    Quote:
In other news, I watched “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (the 2010 version.) I'm always skeptical of remakes and sequels, but horror tends to fare better IMO. I liked the remakes of “Friday the 13th” which Michael Bay also produced, but this one was more on par with his other horror remake production credit, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” It was visually very stunning, and I liked the “reimagined” Freddy, but it felt kind of flat and was lacking in tension.

NOES is my favourite horror franchise, and can't wait for the BRD to be released here in the UK sometime next month. It goes without saying that the original is the best, but I was surprised how good the movie is considering Michael Bay is involved (and also surprised there was no major explosions for the same reason ha ha) and loved the new Freddy, Jackiw Earle Haley did a good job being kinda creepy, and the makeup looked pretty cool, although I wish they had done a totally new story and not really try to base it one the original (a lot of nods to that movie).

    Crawling in my skin

These wounds they will not heal

    Fear is how I fall

    Confusing what is real

I can't feel the way I did before

Don't turn your back on me

    I won't be ignored

    I tried so hard

    And got so far

    But in the end

    It doesn't even matter

    I tried so hard

    And got so far

    But in the end

    It doesn't even matter

    I wanna run away

    Never say goodbye

    I wanna know the truth

    Instead of wondering why

    I wanna know the answers

    No more lies

    I wanna shut the door

    And open up my mind

All snippets of lyrics from songs from one band…. been a fan of theirs for years…. cool.gif

    Nice!

My new colleagues are looking at going to see The Social Network (I now work for an online company). Let me know what you think of it.

No worries will do, going Tuesday to see it, not sure who I'm taking with me yet though (I always seem to get 2 tickets!) cool.gif

Saw Buried yesterday…if you have seen the CSI Episodes “Grave Danger” you know what to expect…basically a man is kidnapped and buried alive….it was not as bad as I thought it would be, and there was a good twist at the end too.
