yamerias✘ Not a client
Welcome, please forgive my delayed response.
Hope you enjoy your visits here, the people are a great support network and I feel honoured to call the people here my friends and hope they see me the same way.
See you around the boards, and have fun!
yamerias✘ Not a clientWhat doesn't kill you makes you…wierder.
Ever dance with the Devil by the pale moonlight? I always ask that of all my prey…I just like the sound of it!
Ok, I think you know 2 of my favourite movies now!!
yamerias✘ Not a clientI will talk to some of the members and see what I can do, it was great fun, and interesting interacting in realtime and kinda getting to know each other better.
Martin, maybe if you offer everyone the beverage and snack if their choice they will join :cP
yamerias✘ Not a clientI cannot do without…
iPhone-phone, music player, books, contact with my world around the world
Chocolate-this is odd as I don't usually like it much
Friends-you can't get through things by yourself, no matter what anyone says
Mountain Dew-I mean the US version as the UK is nowhere near as good!
yamerias✘ Not a client'AuraTodd' wrote on '06:Is that Piranha the new film?
No, that would be Pirhana 3D, which looks dreadful..so will probably watch soon!
yamerias✘ Not a clientHeinz never had 57 varieties it was just a number he liked.
Parody singer Weird Al Yankovic has a facinatipn with the number 27
When Homer Simpson says “d'oh!” the script actually says “disgruntled noise”
On the scroll of the MGM logo are the words “art for art's sake” in Latin
666 is not the number of the beast, it's 616
As Martin stated, the peanut is not a nut…it's a legume.
If giraffes eat rotten fruit from a tree they get drunk!
If you drink a beer through a straw you will get drunk quicker due to lack of oxygen to the brain
Human urine can be drank twice before becoming toxic
The Incredible Hulk was originally grey, not green.
More soon!
yamerias✘ Not a clientBeen seeing things again recently due to lack of sleep, but it is different this rime as I thought I'd seen a spider scuttle across the floor, or something flying out corner of my eye.
yamerias✘ Not a clientAre the downloads from B&N .PDF?
If they do indeed have DRM drop me a PM Martin I might be able to help you.
yamerias✘ Not a clientWell,time to do a roundup of movies I have watched recently…
- Mega Pirhana – Oh jeez…this was truly awful movie, it is not the worst I've seen by any stretch of the imagination (if you have seen Birdemic, you will understand why..and that movie has a sequel out next year…damn!!) but the SFX were dreadful and it was epically cheesy on a grand scale…I'm glad I only borrowed this movie and didn't actually buy it.[*]Salt – I know lots of people have slated this movie, but I kinda enjoyed it (and looking at Anglina Jolie can't hurt either!!) and kinda the usual spy movie stuff really. I personally think that it was a fun movie to switch your brain off and just enjoy.[*]The Sorcerer's Apprentice – Be fore I say anything else…if you are expecting to see a live action version of the incredible Fantasia, don't go and see this movie. It's good fun though, and there is a nod to Fantasia in the film. Some fun SFX and it was nice to see Alice Krige as something else other than Borg![*]Centurion – nice movie about the legendary 9th Legion of Roman Soldiers. This movie was done by the same guy who did Dog Soldiers, and although there are some historical errors, I enjoyed watching it and there was a good gore quotient too.[*]Deadly Friend – I have been trying to get hold of this movie for ages and at long last I have been able to import it on DVD!!! It's about a boy who moves into down with a robot who gets destroyed. He gets friendly with the girl next door who is killed by her abusive father…and the boy brings the girl to life using the circuit boards of the destroyed robot…and she goes on a rampage killing the people nasty to her….kinda silly horror, not one of Wes Craven's best, but there is a classic scene where the girl crushes someone's head with a basketball!!
Think that is it for now…more as I remember!!
yamerias✘ Not a clientdid it happen? I forgot to check…
yamerias✘ Not a clientThe average male produces enough ear wax in a life to create a 1/3 scale model of the Taj Mahal!
yamerias✘ Not a clientoddly enough, chapstick for me as well, suffer with cracked lips.
I also make sure doors re shut, phone fully charged, and (I await a ribbing for this) make sure a teddy bear i had for nearly 15 years is near my bed.
After that I plug n my music and hope for the best…
yamerias✘ Not a clientGOOD TIMES
- Got an iPhone 4 recently, nice piece of kit…and it means it means the people who are important to me can get in touch with me at any tm no matter where I am.[*]Watched the Nightmare on Elm Street movies this last few days, have to wait until October for the new one to be released in UK, not sure when out in US.[*]I have many people here that I am proud to call my my friends. I'm touched, humbled and honored that you came into my life, thank you so very much for putting up with a miserable git like me.
BAD TIMES
- [*]Alcohol makes brutally honest…so much so over the last few weeks I've lost friends who couldn't handle it. This weekend I was sober and no friends lost, perhaps I should stop drinking again![*]Bad dreams…the same one again and again.[*]Think I need help with my issues, changing surgeries and going to try one last time to get some.
yamerias✘ Not a clientWatch the original, it's pretty cool…although not true to the mythologies.
Watched the Underworld Trilogy this week as I'd grabbed it on BRD, certainly better than a certain Vampire vs Werewolves saga that is currently doing the rounds…
Oh yeah, and watched Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift….that Hulk car is pure awesome, if I could drive, I'd want one of those!
yamerias✘ Not a clientI have just recently purchased an iPhone 4 32Gb and installed iBooks, it's not too bad, you can adjust the light accordingly so that it doesn't give you sore eyes (or read at stupid o clock if you can't sleep).
It's pretty good too, I've currently only got the freebies on there (which is great as they have 2 of my all time faves…Dracula and Frankenstein) but plan to get at least the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy and Dirk Gently books as well.
I know I have said in the past I have concentration issues which stop me reading…well I'm trying to fight them, so here's hoping with the free books first!
I do believe you can use Kindle books on the iPhone too, but not found details for that…would be cheaper which is always good.
