yamerias✘ Not a client
I guess for me one of my Role Models is the guitarist Brian May.
I have always had a passion for music, especially the guitar, and he is truly a hero in my eyes, when you consider he built his own guitar (The Red Special he made as a teen) and his playing skills are amazing.
yamerias✘ Not a clientOff to a preview screening of Hot Tub Time Machine tomorrow, and hopefully Iron Man 2 Thursday.

yamerias✘ Not a clientThis weekend has been one of movies….I saw Alice in Wonderland yesterday, attended a preview screening of The Blind Side today…and I'm getting rid of a large amount of my DVD collection due to lack of space.
Alice in Wonderland – This is a good movie, but if you are going to see this expecting to see something akin to Disney's animated interpretation then stop right now. This movie is a sequel of sorts, Alice has grown up and returns to Wonderland. All the madcap characters are there like Dormouse, Hat Hatter and Red Queen and the characters work well in the movie.
For a 2 hour movie, the time really flies, and as much as I enjoyed it it still felt like there should have been more to it…and I'm not sure what exactly was 3D about it either…
The Blind Side was cool, I was able to get preview tickets to see this movie. It's about a woman who helps out a kid who is homeless and has awful grades…she gives him a room, clothes and feeds him and even becomes the kid's legal guardian. She helps his grades improve and gets him into American football.
You see a battle of the classes to a certain degree, but it is a really good story and I would have been moe than happy to have paid for tickets to see this movie, it is kinda sad and my flatmate got a bit weepy during the movie!
Good movies, but The Blind Side was most certainly the better of the 2.
yamerias✘ Not a clientsorry for my lack of response here, a few things going on been stopping…anyways just wanted to say I am currently setting up a blog with my poetry in, some topical, some outright silly, some sad, some dark…
Anyways there is currently one poem on there (I'm getting round to typing the rest on there…it's a slow process! and the link is HERE.
Please let me know what you think….hopefully more poetry on there this afternoon if all goes to plan!
