    Checking in 1 month after completing the 8 week course and my sleep has faded back into the background of my life, where it belongs.

    The biggest tips that helped me (in order):
    – consistent wake up time
    – consistent go to sleep time
    – only sleep when you’re tired
    – when you’re anxious in bed trying to sleep, get up and do calming things until you’re calm and sleepy
    – if 8 hours is not happening for you, aim to get a consistent 6 or 7 instead

    When we put more things in front of us by doing things that are rich and meaningful, we expand our focus and open ourselves up a bit, right?

    Instead of concern about wakefulness and all the thoughts and feelings that can come with it blocking our view of the world around us, we might start to notice more of the good stuff and be better able to move toward the kind of life we want to live and the person we want to be.

    And, in turn, concerns about sleep might just start to fade into the background — just as you described!
