      Hello,
I am new here. I’ve faced “sleep issues” for about 3-4 months now. It started as stress from my daughter having an episode which then developed into issues at work and additional stress. I then started hyper analyzing and worrying about sleep.
I feel like I am on the mend and I feel so much better.
I find I am waking every morning around 3am. I go to bed early around 8-8:30pm as it lines up with my daughters sleep and I train (mainly running) early morning around 4am.
Even when I go to bed at 9pm I wake at 3. Some mornings I can get back to sleep, in and out mainly. I just want to get that extra hour.
Has anybody faced this issue and have any suggestions on how I can tackle it?
      Thank you

        Welcome to the forum!

Stress triggered some sleep disruption and you’ve identified that ongoing analysis of sleep (and perhaps effort to make it happen) created a struggle and kept the difficulty going — although you feel you are on the mend now, and feeling a lot better.

You want to get an extra hour of sleep. What would you be doing differently with your life if you got that extra hour of sleep?
