    Hi everyone

    Just dropping in to introduce myself 🙂 I'm Karen (Kaz), I'm 26 and I'm from Belfast in Northern Ireland. I have a string of mental health problems (BPD, bipolar II disorder, clinical depression, social anxiety) which have, in part at least, left me as a chronic insomniac. As far as I can recall, the last time I got a normal night's sleep (unmedicated, anyway), I must have been in my late childhood. Eek!

    Unfortunately, despite having a string of second and third level qualifications, I am unable to work, but my interests include the following: Twitter (@kazcita), rock music (Queen, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, Nightwish, AC/DC to name a tiny few), gigs, other concerts eg. orchestral, theatre, pubs, video and computer gaming, reading of course (sci-fi, fantasy, non-fiction psychology and psychiatry) and, when able, writing. Oh and football – I'm a Newcastle United fan, and try to get over to three or four matches (mainly at home at SJP) per year. Please don't hold it against me 😉

    Anyway, I've blathered on for quite a while now, so I'll leave it there for now. I look forward to meeting all of you and engaging in mutual insomnia support 🙂
