Hi! Does anyone else suffer from insomnia that is accompanied by gut issues and depression?  I have had episodes like this for 7 years and they occur about every 6 months!  Some stressful event will trigger a change in my bowel habits, then I will feel a dark depression come over me, and I’ll want to stay in bed too long in the morning, then the insomnia starts.  I have leaky gut and some auto-immune issues, so if I don’t eat right, I am susceptible to these episodes.

I have tried countless sleeping pills and OTC meds that don’t work.  Has anyone had this syndrome?  Is there a name for it?  Is there any natural supplement I should take?   Any specific therapies helpful out there?  I am sleeping only a few hours each night!  How do you deal with the resulting fatigue?

I am 69 years old and am missing out on my happy retirement!  🙁

Thank you so much for any helpful information!
