Hello, I’m glad if you help me with a problem that tortures me for a long time. It’s a question of waking up at night. Every night fall asleep easily, but I wake up as I sleep. I fall asleep again easily but it happens 2-3 times at night. I tried lot of advice, but nothing helps. Should I worry? Sorry if my English is bad. Also, every night there are thoughts that are random, meaningless and like dreams, but I am still awake and when they appear, I fall asleep at the moment. If they do not come to sleep or fall asleep hard

      thank you

Waking during the night is completely normal and usually happens as we emerge from one sleep cycle in order to start a new sleep cycle. Those without sleep issues pay such little attention to these nighttime awakenings that they rarely remember them, and the awakenings themselves are very short. These awakenings only become a problem when we worry about them — because then we find that as soon as we awaken, we begin to worry. As soon as we worry, we make it harder to fall back to sleep.

How do you feel during the day? Are you very tired during the day? Do you find that you snore at night?

          Hello,

Thank you for your reply.Sometimes im feeling ok,sometimes im feeling tired if   I have not slept 7-8 hours.I do not snore at night. When i wake up druing the night,i fall asleep super easy..max 1 min i think…I forgot to say before 1-2 months I went to a neurologist. He prescribed me Atarax and sent me nuclear magnetic resonance. They found adenoma in the pituitary, 0.4mm. All the hormones are checked and everything is fine.Yesterday i went again.I told him that atarax did not help and he prescribed me Ecodorm and told me to drink it for 15 to 30 days and today I will buy it.Also when these wakes started, somethimes i dont have morning erections….sometimes i have, sometimes i dont have. Also when it started, every night there are thoughts that are random, meaningless and like dreams, but I am still awake and when they appear, I fall asleep at the moment. If they do not come to sleep or fall asleep hard.I told this neurologist and he said it was a sleep cycle or something like that …
I dont know what to do…Thank you

If you are waking during the night 2-3 times and these awakenings tend to last for less than 1 minute, it is likely that you could just be emerging from a sleep cycle, as suggested by your neurologist.

I am a little confused by the concerns you have about your sleep. If you are only awake for less than 5 minutes during the night, why are you worried about your sleep?
