I am literally not sleeping. Maybe I m sleeping for few minutes but I don’t remember that in the morning. It is already 15 days that this horrible thing is happening to me. Need some advice.

Welcome to the forum, @Nadya_t. First of all, let me reassure you that you have definitely been getting more than just a few minutes of sleep over the past 15 days!

When we have a lot of worry/anxiety about sleep, it can be more difficult to recall sleep — most people with insomnia underestimate how much sleep they get and overestimate how much time they spend awake. You might find this video helpful: How to address paradoxical insomnia (sleep state misperception).

With that being said, it’s clear that you are not happy with the amount of sleep you’re getting, so there are likely some things you can do to improve your sleep.

What time do you usually go to bed at night, and what time do you usually get out of bed to start your day? Do you tend to find it more difficult to fall asleep when you get into bed, or to stay asleep through the night (or both)?

            Thank you for your replies!!!
I had only CoVid in July scottctj
Since then have various problems in my body, like stings in the muscles, back ache sometimes. I definitely have worries because of current uncertainty. Also every time when I hear about someone’s getting CoVid I get stressed. These things are not controllable. Thank you for the video https://insomniacoach.com/forums/users/martin/
You know I want to add that I also have sleepphobia. I wake up constantly or I don’t sleep because I am scared that I will stop breathing if I sleep. Even I assure myself that it is ok if you die, life ends sometimes just go to sleep. My mind doesn’t listen to me. I had Medical treatment for 10 days. Medications didn’t help much. I will watch more videos with your instructions.
Thanks again! I hope I will sleep eventually much better. At least half an hour sleep without my brain thinking could be enough for me to continue the day. I wouldn’t have created problem with that if it happens.
