      I have had insomnia for 10 years – until this year I was able to sleep during winter with no problems at all, but this year has changed and I am living on between 0 and 3 hours a night every night. I have tried sleep restriction before but during periods of stress and it was never successful. Nothing else has worked for me and I know I need to try sleep restriction again but find it so hard when the rest of the household is in bed by 10pm. Lately I have only fallen asleep after 4am if at all.

        Hello Fiona. Are you currently following any kind of sleep window or regular sleep schedule? When do you typically get into bed at night, and when do you get out of bed to start your day?
