I wake up with a headache and very little energy when I can’t sleep

I am retired & my Mom lives with us – hubby is still working

Hubby has sleep apnea & a machine

even if I don’t sleep with him in our Sleep Number bed, I have issues

i don’t take naps unless it’s early morning

It varies.  I’ve been sleeping downstairs lately in our spare bedroom, next to Mom’s bedroom some – trying different things

My husband gets up at 4am to go to work & as I’ve said, I retired to get mom to sell her house & move in with us – she’s 88 next month, in good health, but her eyes are worse so isn’t driving since Easter when we moved her in.

I do snore sometimes, but usually pretty quiet, I’m told.

My first suggestions would be to make sure you are allotting an appropriate amount of time for sleep. Getting out of bed when you can’t sleep also helps increase sleep pressure (and helps associate the bed with sleep rather than wakefulness). Do you nap during the day?
