I do not go to bed until I’m so sleepy I can barely keep my eyes open, however,as soon as I hit the pillow I feel wide awake, other times I do fall asleep for about an hour, then that’s it.

I do use a cpap  machine, but it does not help me fall asleep or keep me asleep

Web searches brought me to Insomnia Coach, and I appreciate all the hints

Quality of life is my big concern

Welcome to the forum, Eclair and I am sorry to hear about your struggles with sleep. When you get into bed and suddenly feel wide awake and alert, what do you do next? Do you stay in bed, hoping for sleep or trying to sleep, or do you get out of bed until you feel sleepy again and repeat the process?
