    Used too sleep without any trouble until my mid forties. Then it was downhill from there. Several nights a week I may be up all night then go too bed in the morning. I wait till I am sleepy before I attempt too lay down. Have had lots of stress with two children so that could be a factor too. Stress and getting older. They say Chronic Fatigue Syndrome effects the sleep pattern. Has anyone read anything about that medical problem?

    Welcome to the forum, Connie. Before you start investigating chronic fatigue syndrome, I think it would be helpful to look at your sleep in a bit more detail.

    It’s great to hear that you are waiting until you are sleepy before you go to bed. Are you also making sure that you get out of bed by the same time every morning?

    Is your main challenge falling asleep at the start of the night, or waking during the night and finding it hard to fall back to sleep?
