      Hi

I have just registered on this forum so hoping for some help on improving my sleep.

I tend to wake anytime from 5AM on. I did a bit of research on this a few months ago and tried reducing carbs by going Keto and had a bit of success but it is getting worse again.

I also work shift work and find daytime sleep after working nights is gradually getting worse over the last few years. I tend to wake up after 3 or 4 hours no mater how tired I am and usually don’t go back to sleep after I wake up.

I have tried melatonin and still take it regularly and also things like not look at the time and just relaxing. I have tried different breathing techniques but find focussing on my breathing makes me worse.

      Thanks

Shift work is really tough on the body clock and on sleep. I would suggest seeking advice from someone who specializes in circadian rhythm sleep disorders and who has experience working with shift workers.
