      Hello there!

      This is my first post. Nice to have discovered ‘Insomnia Coach’, the Forum, and you.

      I’m 60 years old. I have no idea why, but I’m experiencing chronic Insomnia for the first time in my life. For 4 months now, I’ve only slept 3 hours a night! (I used to get 6 hours, and went to bed around 11:00 pm.) Now, I usually fall asleep around 4:00, 5:00, or 6:00 am.

      I know I shouldn’t, but when I can, I take very long naps in the afternoons, because I can’t keep my eyes open.

      My sleep and eating cycles are all out of wack. I don’t eat all day (because I’m not hungry), and then at night I over-eat, because I’m too hungry!

      I’m exhausted, yet somehow still functioning. (But my short-term memory is getting worse.)

      Any advice, anyone? Any tips to help my Insomnia, and increase my sleep time again?

        How are you getting on? Any improvement over the past few weeks? Usually, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) techniques are the best way to improve sleep.
