To all our American members, Happy Thanksgiving! What are you up to / what did you do for Thanksgiving this year?

My wife and I will be having our Thanksgiving dinner this Sunday as we have a friend coming over. We aren't big Turkey fans, so we have our own tradition of roasting a duck and making wonton soup. Yum!

What about you? Do you have your own tradition for Thanksgiving? Any good stories to share?

Just back from having Thanksgiving Dinner at my significant other's family's house. Lots of people — not my “scene” at all, being the introvert that I am. But I got through it; I was able to last a good two hours, which is a lot for me!

However, of course I was dreading this last night as I was going to bed, and you guessed it, I was only able to manage a couple of hours of sleep before waking up and thinking ahead to today's social event and getting all panicky about it. I didn't even have to do any cooking — it was just the thought of all the social interaction expected of me. Oh well. My guy understands what I'm like, so we left as soon as politely possible. Could be worse, I guess. 😮

I wonder if others even notice your introverted nature. You may be surprised how little it comes across in a lot of people.

I got my Black Friday shopping deal in yesterday. Found a 32″ TV for $188 online, including delivery. I need a TV in the spare room so I can watch something other than her shows!!

Did anyone go out to hit the Door Busters?! I would imagine these sales are well suited to insomniacs!
