all thios tattoo talk is making me want one,
now what and where???
any suggestions bare in mind I'm 5 foot so not much space and I hate pain
Shoulder's always cute. Not too bad, either. I'd avoid the spine and ribs. They're pretty painful.

What are you going to go for? Something else music inspired?
Actually, I decided on getting a Nigerian flag between my scapulae. But when I do get my next music tat, it'll be a gun (38 special) shooting out musical notes and broken hearts 😉
March 11, 2010 at 8:31 pm #10230Who is going to be the first to get the Insomnia Land logo (or just the star) tattooed onto themselves?

March 29, 2010 at 5:26 am #10236I have one I'm trying to get rid of 🙁
Hurts so much more to get it removed so I've been pussyfooting for a few months now.

It is really that bad that you can't live with it anymore? How old were you when you got it done, and why have you decided you want to get rid of it?

I thought it was so funny how she replied, “Would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?!”
The next day I saw a bumper sticker on a Porsche. Not quite a Bentley, but still the same principle.
Yeah, nothing spells class Kim Kardashian. I used to be entertained by the Kardashians, in a “look, there's a traffic accident, we should all drive real slow and look, even though we really shouldn't” kind of way. She does drive a Bentley though, or she did in season two and made sure everyone knew about it. She's more of a “diva,” than an actual diva at this point. But I still get amused by her on occasion.
March 30, 2010 at 4:17 am #10239I used to always want a tattoo or a piercing of some kind or both. I never could quite figure what I wanted or where. In retrospect, much as I think tats and piercings are pretty awesome, I'm kind of glad I didn't get one.
Fun fact: for some reason, like 30% of the people I date end up having numerous tats and/or piercings, even though I'm not inherently attracted to that. I guess it's the whole “opposites attract thing.”
March 30, 2010 at 7:21 pm #10240I can't stand needles, so tattoos are not even an option to consider for me!

I am the same way. both of mine are right on/above my hipbones and my lower ribs. my next one is going to climb my ribs, I think…
April 8, 2010 at 9:15 pm #10242I'm getting a few, I already have the dates set up with a professional.
I'm getting this on my left arm.
“Given the choice between the experience of pain and nothing, I would choose pain”-William Faulkner
This on my right arm.
“Those who do not feel pain seldom think that it is felt.” – Dr Samuel Johnson
These represent the physical pain I go through and others go through and shows that no one is alone with pain even when they think they are.
Also to represent how a lot of people think pain is easy to deal with, people say to me all the time, just deal with it, it's not as bad as you think, um yeah it is, you're not going through what I am.
I'm also getting a tattoo to represent my dead friend john who killed himself with 24 Oxycontin(I hear different stories about how much he took). His parents say it was 80 since he bought a bottle of 80 of them and it was empty, they only found 24 in his body, autopsy right away. Either way he drank a bottle of wine and killed himself, he couldn't beat his drug addiction.
Always told me if he ever killed himself never to do anything nice for him because he wouldn't deserve it. So I'm thinking of just getting a tattoo that represents drug addiction and people losing and winning against, since i have a few friends who lost and a few who won.
My sister is going to help me design the tattoo.
I'm also going to get lyrics from the song People who died by Jim Carroll.
They are “Those are people who died, died They were all my friends, and they died” as a rememberance to my friends who have died.
I want another one on my neck as well and I want to design that as well but I am not sure what I want it to be at all.
