      Hello friends,

      Would someone like to team up with me to try SRT? I don’t think I can do it alone. A gentle nudge from others doing SRT might help me do it and get better soon.

      reg me, I have been suffering for close to 15 years but I have had good days / weeks/ months in the past where sleep wasn’t an issue but last two months have been extremely rough.

        Hello! I just joined this forum today. I’m trying to use CBTI methods to overcome my insomnia. I developed it just in the last few weeks due to a concussion and related anxiety. Before that, I slept really well. I just posted that I’m on my second sleepless night! I’m hoping to make it through the work day. I’m finding the SRT difficult. I’m getting sleepy before my window at 12 am, but then feel wide awake at 12 am. I’d be interested in being your SRT buddy if you want to check in and support each other.

            Apologies, just saw responses. Great to see the support! How do we get in touch with each other to do SRT? I do not want to clog the forum. Will post regular updates on how it is going though in this forum.

              Hi, Glad you’re interested in peer support. Maybe there’s a way to contact each other separately. Could we share email or FB message? It’s 5 am now and I woke up at 1 am. I have tried to reframe my thoughts about sleep with no success. How do you get back to sleep? Anything that’s worked for you?

                Hello I’m going through the same problems, should we form a telegram group it think that’s a good idea. I’m starting Sleep Restriction Tomorrow, but I think having peers would be a great motivator.

                          Hello out there:)
                          I´m Amanda, 24 years old and struggling with insomnia since about 6 years. After trying everything else and watching so many of the Podcast episodes, I´m convinced, that CBTI will be the only thing, that will really help me leaving my insomnia behind in the longterm. I tried implementing the techniques a few times already, but I wasn’t consistent enough with it and gave up too early. This time I want to give it a real shot for 6 weeks (and of course continue, if I see improvements and I´m pretty sure I will), because I really have enough of this miserable situation. I know that giving up is much less likely to happen, when you have someone at your side going through the same thing. Because I don´t have enough money to work with a coach, I thought maybe someone here wants to join me following the CBTI journey to motivate and support each other along the way. Maybe we could meet once in a while via FaceTime etc. to share our experiences and advices and especially motivate each other to stick to the plan. I think that could be really helpful, so if anyone is interested feel free to comment on this post:)
