I'm currently listening to the awesome War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne. I have always loves this album and back in 2005 I was fortunate enough to meet the man himself and he signed my 30th anniversary 7 disc edition of the album. He was such a lovely chap and great to talk to!!May 5, 2011 at 5:35 pm #11786

I have some favorites for the moment:
– The TrueBlood score by Nathan Barr is one of my favorites for the moment.
– A belgian (!) reggaesinger, who sings in or local dialect.
It's about relaxing at home with friends. The title means 'swimming pool'. This songs always makes me feel happy.
– Pack up by Eliza Doolitlle, another cheerful song
– Sugar, sugar by the Archies
– Friday, I'm in love, by The Cure
– Bad things, by Jace Everett (for when I feel naughty)
Lately I've really been using music to cheer me up, so all of this helps!May 25, 2011 at 7:15 pm #11788

Listening to a lot of soundtracks/scores lately. Namely, from “Water For Elephants” and the show “Vampire Knight”. (Never seen either, only listened to the music, so far.) It's great for writing.May 26, 2011 at 12:48 am #11790

Not sure to be honest, although as a suggestion, have you tried anything by Mike Oldfield? Incantations is pretty good.'Tommy wrote on '25:
