Martin–Well, I kept all my media on my external HD, utilized it for storage space, since my normal HD was nowhere near big enough. Problem was, I had no backup for the external.
That said, I have been listening to a lot of Glee tracks lately. I have mixed feelings about the show itself, but I have been listening to Gwyneth Paltrow's “Forget You” cover non-stop, and now I have discovered Naya Rivera, esp. in her “Valerie” cover.
January 9, 2011 at 7:33 pm #11771I hear you, Matt. I had the same setup for a while. It's annoying when you use an external HD as a media center as you need to get yet another one as the backup. Soon you end up with hard drives everywhere!
As for music I'm listening to right now, my head keeps on looping Pure by the Lightning Seeds. I can't escape it – somebody help me!

They were here for a concert (town fete sort of thing, they were good enough to show up because they're from the general area) at the end of last year, and I took my kids to see them. They recognised a lot of the songs because I listen to them a lot, and it was an outdoor free concert, so it was amazing and fun, and a great first concert for them 😀 Now whenever they hear songs by them, they talk about going to the concert and sitting on the grass with me and seeing the LS.

January 25, 2011 at 7:22 pm #11774Not currently listening, but last week I went to go see Meat Loaf in concert! Ha!!
January 26, 2011 at 11:25 pm #11775Infernal Love & Troublegum by Therapy?
Yelling with Andy Cairsn always makes me feel better.
April 2, 2011 at 7:43 pm #11776I'm currently listening to the entire back catalog of Madness, I recently got hold of all the deluxe editions of thier albums…I'm just a slight fan!!
Another album of interest which I downloaded from iTunes is A Night At The Opera by Queen, who in my humble opinion one of the greatest bands of all time….did you know their first greatest hits album is the biggest selling album of all time in the UK? Anyways, I have always thought A Night At The Opera was the best album released by Queen and recommend people listen to this epically classic album…which has recently been rereleased as a special edition to celebrate the band's 40th anniversary.
April 2, 2011 at 10:12 pm #11777I'd not even heard of that album. I'll have to check it out.

Really? Damn dude!! The first 5 albums by Queen are truly the best.
April 6, 2011 at 2:01 am #11779I've just added a UK girl group to my iPhone and they are to become a permanent fixture to whatever play I listen to music on…
They are called The Scarletz and they are four lively ladies who's songs are pop and have a slight Madness influence (could be the reason I like them!!) and I was able to get a copy of their Demo EP last year and they recently released a single called Messed Up on iTunes which is great! I really hope they go far because they great!
Also got hold of the Red Flag EP by Billy Talent, I first heard this song playing the game Burnout 3 on my PS2 several years ago and loved it!
April 6, 2011 at 6:43 pm #11780I have got so lazy with music lately – I rarely even play my own stuff anymore. I just hit up online radio and listen to whatever plays.
April 6, 2011 at 8:12 pm #11781Been back attacking iTunes this evening and have downloaded the deluxe editions of Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack, these have also been released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the group Queen…and I plan to get the albums Queen and A Day At The Races next week, so I have the set of 5 deluxe albums…and I'm hoping that the other albums will be released like this soon too!!
April 11, 2011 at 7:18 pm #11782Music music music…I'm listening to a lot of music right now!!
I have had some serious bargains too….
I was able to get over £40 of music downloads and an audiobook for free from eMusic, I had a voucher in the box of my new stereo, and somehow I was able to use it twice which was cool!! Then, I went to www/ministryofsound.com and was able to download Anthems: Electronic 80s for £1.99, this is a 3CD set if you buy a physical copy!!
Currently I'm listening to Coldcut's albums “Let Us Play” and “Let Us RePlay!” (Thanks eMusic!!) I used to have these on CD, but moving around I've misplaced them/some git nicked them.
April 20, 2011 at 4:58 am #11783El Desierto by Lhasa de Sela. I always start off my day/night with this song; it's become a habit somehow.

I hear you, there. When I'm working I listen to Seoulfm online… similarly, if I'm writing, I listen to specific playlists on Youtube. It gets a little repetitive, sure, but it's nice background music.
