sleepy lies✘ Not a client
At first I was a bit reluctant because on the local communities I found, there was a very negative atmosphere. But I'm not giving up! Maybe I should start a positive community myself. Although I have no idea how to do such a thing. Maybe it's time for a little study.

Hey, I just found a nice website on the Spoon Theory. It's indeed a very good way to explain how I feel every day. I read some comments of other CFS/ME patients. Some of them have it a lot worse then I do.
I just hope I'm not heading down the same path. I'm trying really hard to stay positive and find new meaning in life. Right now I feel a bit useless. Also still angry that it had to happen to me.

I do rather like your tag line.
I have no idea what the spoon theory is. Could you elaborate a bit?
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientSorry, should have been humble…
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientIt seems to be blockbuster-week here.
Yesterday I went to see Thor.
I liked it. Some funny stuff, nice actors, good action-scenes (I'm a big fan of those) and not too predictable.
Today I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 4
It was a lot better than the 3rd one. Not so confusing, but still Jack Sparrow as we know him. A big coward except when it really matters.
Some nice one-liners (I like to report muteny. I can point names and say fingers.)
All-in-all a niece duo in my humbel opninion.
By the way, did anybody see Priest. Missed in the theatre and I'm now waiting untill it's available online.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientI'll try to join in too, if I'm not too tired! Looking forward to it actually.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientI'm not going to let it drag me down! My current motto is to think positive. I'm not sure how long it will hold, but you have to keep trying right!
I actually had my dreamjob. I was a graphic designer, but there's no part-time work in it for now. Right now I'm thinking I might try some administration work.
We'll see how it goes.
About the tomatoes, I would send you some but by the time they reach you I gues they won't be very edible. By the way, we didn't consider rabbits either, untill it was too late. That's a nice lesson for next year.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientI'm afraid the libraries in Belgium are not that advanced yet. But I don't mind. The selection e-books in Dutch is very small, about 4.000 titles. Which for me, is very limited. So I switched to reading in English.
Not only are there more titles available, I can keep up-to-date with my favorite authors. Translations tend to be coming late or not at all in our little country.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientBad times:
– It's confirmed. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Apparently ther's no cure.
– My boss decided to sack me. On my first day back, after 4 months of sick leave. Jerk.
– Rabbits ate all of our cauliflower and brocoli-plants
Good times
– I got an appointment to get into a counselling group for the CFS. It'll be nice to swap stories.
– I'm going back to school in the fall. And because of the CFS, I got persmission to do it part-time. So I can the rest my body needs and still have time to study. Yeay!
– Since I got a nice resignation-bonus, I'm able to stay at home with my three kids for the whole 2 months if their summer-vacation. We'll have a lot of fun!
– It's sunny outside and it seems to stay that way for another while.
– We built a greenhouse in our yard and the tomatoes are growing nicely. Can't wait to harvest the first ones!
So I might have a few setbacks, but I wont let that get me down!
Still moving forward, only on a different path!
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientYou know you need more sleep when you laugh at everything, even things wich are totally not funny.

I went to see Fast Five last week. It was awesome! Not to complicated storyline, really nice rides, terrific action-scenes. At the end it was a bit over the top but I don't mind.
I loved seeing The Rock and Vin Diesel in one movie. Always nice to get some eyecandy!
Little tip if you didn't see it yet. There's another scene after the first credits. Stay seated because it's a real teaser!

It certainly is an addiction! I just ordered myself a new e-reader. My last one broke. I got the one from Sony with a reading light so my husband isn't bothered when I read at night.
Can't wait for it to get delivered!
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientJust the read the lastest one of Charlaine Harris, Dead Reckoning. I was really dissapointed.
I really do love her work but the last 2 installments are not like the other books at all. Maybe she's getting bored with the characters.
I also just read a science-fiction series by Justina Robson, The Quantum Gravity series.
I really loved it, but sometimes the descriptions got a bit tedious and I lost track of what she was trying to say. Maybe it's because English isn't my first language or maybe it just was a little too spiritual.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientI have some favorites for the moment:
– The TrueBlood score by Nathan Barr is one of my favorites for the moment.
– A belgian (!) reggaesinger, who sings in or local dialect.
It's about relaxing at home with friends. The title means 'swimming pool'. This songs always makes me feel happy.
– Pack up by Eliza Doolitlle, another cheerful song
– Sugar, sugar by the Archies
– Friday, I'm in love, by The Cure
– Bad things, by Jace Everett (for when I feel naughty)
Lately I've really been using music to cheer me up, so all of this helps!
