sleepy lies✘ Not a client
Being sick at home, my list changed a bit (I have 5):
My bed
(I really love my bed, we got a new boxspring last year and its longer then the usual size, so I actually fit in it. After years of being in small beds, that was such a revelation!)
Different kinds of medicine
Lots & lots of books
PC with internet
Fully stocked fridge
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientIt's been a while since I've been on the forum. I like this topic. So here it goes.
The first one is maybe the easiest to accomplish. I would like to learn another foreign language like swedish. I'm really fascinated by the scandinavian way of life ans I also dream of travelling to Sweden.
Secondly, since I'm also fascinated by the US, I would really like to live in the US for a short period of time. I just want to known if things really are as shown on TV and what the little differences between Europe and the US are.
I also dream of writing a book. I have ideas enough but I have difficulties to actually write them. But I'm not giving up! It's been put on hold for now, since there's so much other stuff going on right now.
And last but not least, someday I would like to go back to school. I would love to learn more about IT and become a professional. But again, that doesn't seem to mix with my current issues.
And of course I dream of getting rid of the CFS so I can go ahead and actually do something about my dreams instead of sleeping during the day and lying awake at night.

Not such a bad idea for us Europeans. Although I have no idea were to hold the party. You're always welcome here in Belgium!
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientHi Kate
welcome to the forum. I can relate to your situation. I'm also working with a neurologist and my GP. I've had a test in the sleep-lab last week, but still waiting on the results.
I hope you find the problem. Don't give up!
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientI seems to be getting better. The nightmares are gone. The dreams I have are real vivid though, but I don't mind that. Sometimes they are actually great fun.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientQuote:Have you tried taking allergy medicine? Like Allegra or Zyrtec? or even Benedryl? For some people benedryl makes them drowsy enough to fall asleep. I myself am immune to that effect. Unfortunately.
Yeah, I have an allergy medicine. It's something called Aerius. I don't know what it relates to in the US or other countries. But it doesn't make me drowsy. It just takes the itching away.
I had a test in a sleep lab last week. The results aren't in yet. I'm getting a bit frustrated of waiting for testresults all the time.
I didn't know fibromyalgia was the same as CFS. I thought it were two different diseases.
I don't get the muscle-aches you talk about but I'm sure it must be hard to cope with something like that.
I'll let you know when the results are in.

I am reading Vampire Academy series at the minute
I have been reading Laurell K Hamilton too her Anita Blake series but have taken a break as there are so many of them.
I am waiting for the new book in Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series to come out too.
Thats a just a few of the books I have read, I also read Michael Macintyres book and that was funny :0)
Hey, thanks for the tip about Laurell K Hamilton. I just read the first chapter on her website and I will surely look into that when I'm finished with the book I'm currently reading.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientI quit reading 'The hitchhikers guide'. Somewhere along the way it got boring.
Now I'm reading The night angel trilogy written by Brent Weeks.
Something different from the vampire/werewolves stuff I usually read, but I like it.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientWent to see Suckerpunch in the theatre. I loved all the symbolism in the movie. Great action scenes too.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientSomething good to read
Laptop with internet connection
Lots of coca-cola
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientHey sapnov,
could you elaborate a bit on the bahvior recognition methodology. It's new to me so I'd love to learn about it.
Thanks and welcome to the forum.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientOh my god!
I was just forced (by my children) to watch 2 of the Twilight-movies. Man, they suck! (Or actually not. It's kinda funny, a vampire movie without fangs, blood or some kind of mutulated bodies)
I read somewhere one of the movies was nominated for a golden raspberry. Well, I couldn't agree more.
The acting is poor, the dialogues are even worse. Luckily there's some eyecandy (I'm NOT talking about Robert Pattinson, but the werewolve boys) or would have been a total disaster.
I think I will need a serious True Blood shot to get over this vampire-debacle.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientHi there, welcome to the forum.
I also had trouble sleeping before I got pregnant and I took something called 'zolpidem'. It's the belgian name, I don't know what it's called in the US or Canada. I had to stop taking it before we started trying.
So I was a little worried about sleeping but I didn't want to hurt my baby.
I got pregnant almost right away and I practically slept through my pregnancy. It was such a bliss. I didn't suffer any insomnia whilst being pregnant, so that was a huge relief.
I hope it works the same way for you.
Good luck with getting pregnant and getting some sleep.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientHey Ivan,
sorry to hear Jessica is back into a coma.
But don't loose your hope. She has woken up once so she may be able to do it again.
I'm sure all the love and support that reaches her will give her some extra strength.
sleepy lies✘ Not a clientHey,
I started on trazodone about a month ago. The doctor said I had to take it for a month and see if things got better.
They didn't. At first I took one pill of 100mg. Each time I slept for about 14 hours and when I finally did wake up, I was too drowsy to be of any use but sit in the sofa.
So I cut it back to half a pill each night. The drowiness lessened and I did sleep but I had these awfull dreams.
I've always had lively dreams and I always do remember what I dreamt the night before. The first weeks the dreaming became more vivid and crazier then usual.
But lately it's gotten worse. Now I have these awfull nightmares. Last night it was my brother getting killed on a trip in some asian country and I had to arrange the funeral all by myself because the rest of the family were to devastated to do anything.
A couple days ago it was my dad who died, or the house being on fire with my daughter trapped inside.
I don't know what to do. I stopped taking them for a few nights and the insomnia came right back.
So what do I choose: nightmares or insomnia?
I guess another visit to the doctor is called for.
